Furry Interview in "Natt og Dag", not a good impression.

""Natt and Dag" is a free, paid-by-ads newspaper in Norway, distributed in stores and pubs and stuff. It is in the "sensationalist!" segment. They did, of course, not go public to furries about wanting to interview us, but found two furs who felt they could represent the entire fandom.
It goes as it must go. The front page has the somewhat loosely translated title "AniMal placed love – Furries & Bestiality " (where the first word was a combo of malplaced (misplaced) and animal…).
It has created great disturbance in the furce in Norway."

That entire article was stupid and everything could have been said without involving furries. I’m not surprised that another idiot “furry” went to the media… This all reminds me of Chewfox being on tyra. =.=

This article seems like nothing but Blog spam. I went through three links to get a zip file with a broken web page in it, we need a direct link to the article in its original language to run through our translators of choice. otherwise how do i authenticate the article? how do i know this is real without the original source?
Yes I may be objective but, as a critical thinker/reader this is what i want to see in my “news”
This is syndicated to us from Furryne.ws. The problem we have is they work like “Digg” and depend on snippets of articles, and then link to the main article. We don’t allow all of their content through, there is a large amount of it that never makes it to our list.
The problem with using any syndicated content is we are limited by what they post in their RSS feed – it could be a single sentence, an “excerpt”, the first paragraph or two of the article, or a complete article.
In this case, we did take the extra measure of going and getting the cached article and translating it, and providing it as a zip file. The actual article its self had been pulled from the Natt&Dag site, so there was little we could to to really post relative links.

Ok everybody one, two, three FACEPALM!!! God this is fucking stupid. I know we are a fandom, but can we please declare beastilists not furries? Please? And seriously only talk to the media by giving the broad definition. THATS IT.
eh it never suggested the two were the same. They did keep the interviews separate. The article was about people who identify themselves as connected to animals. Be it spiritually, ideally, or sexually. Oh don’t get me wrong none of those concepts applies to furry fans at all. I think furry applies to a fan of robin hood while anything else should be called… whatever proper label it has. No need to make a fuss over it though…not yet.
