Furry News Network was conceived December, 2008, and the idea was made public December 27, 2008 on Live Journal by Badwolfatl – Journal Entry

The development of FNN was put on hold throughout 2009 and 2010. In July 2010, the Top Level Domain “furrynewsnetwork.com” was purchased and the underlying server software was put in place.

FNN is part of a larger network of sites.  These include, but are not limited to:

FurrySeek – Furry Search Engine and Directory

ScritchMe – Furry Personals and Match Making, catering to Straight, Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Trans-gendered and Polyamorous singles and couples.

FursList – A “Craigslist” style free for all site to allow furs to barter services and merchandise

FurryBids – a clean, well organized and well promoted Furry auction site

FurryTubes – A multimedia site targeted to furries where you can post your videos and music you create.

The Furry Market – Sell your goods online through our store front.

2 Streaming Radio Stations are also in development – One catering to the Dance crowd, the other catering to the Alt-Rock crowd

These projects are well under way.  You will start seeing them in late Feb, early March 2011.

Our Parent, Badwolf Productions, LLC is also gearing up to become a full video production studio.  The hope is to do a weekly new cast branded as the Furry News Network Weekly Recap.  We will also be available to produce videos for conventinos, local groups and businesses on our in-house editing suite.

Like the idea behind FNN. We are striving to be a socially driven source for Furry news, entertainment, and services. As we find new services to offer that we think will be of value, we will bring in the talent to help us make it a success.
